My Second Home Family Day Home

I am very proud to say that every month, My Second Home will donate a portion of our profits to a local charity in our area. The really cool part is that the kids get to go the stores, pick out the needed items, and then present them to the charity in person!! I think this opportunity allows children to learn math skills, social skills, reasoning skills and just learn to help others.  Some of the local charities will be MCEAP food pantry, MCEAP clothing bank, Salvation Army, Women’s Resource Center of the New River Valley, Humane Society of Montgomery County, and local nursing homes/assisted living homes. This is a wonderful opportunity for children to learn how to give at a young age.
